Project BRAVO is providing emergency assistance for people with disconnection notices. In order to apply for these services you must request an application in person with your notice of disconnection.
Project BRAVO continues to provide other programs and services such as free GED class; furnace repair and startups; HUD certified housing counseling for first-time homebuyers and people needing their mortgage to be restructured; assistance with getting free and low cost prescriptions, eye exams, eye glasses, and medical care; and weatherization which helps homes to be more energy efficient. Applicants must qualify for services by picking up an application in person at one of our satellite offices.

Project BRAVO was established in 1965 as a private IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt Corporation and is the designated Community Action Agency (CAA) for all of El Paso County. Project BRAVO is funded by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) through the Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG) and various other funding sources.
