Weatherization
Weatherization makes homes more energy efficient and reduces utility costs. Weatherizing a home involves installing a wide variety of energy efficiency measures such as attic and wall insulation, weatherstripping around doors and windows, and replacing appliances such as furnaces and refrigerators with more energy efficient models. Each home is assessed individually and the measures that are installed depend on guidance provided by the US Department of Energy and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
