The After-School Program (ASP), sponsored by CEPCO and hosted at Cristo Rey's facilities, seeks to strengthen relationships between young people and their families, to provide students with academic support, to teach life skills, to develop leadership habits, and to help empower parents to encourage education for their children and work for change in the community. The main goal of the program is for all participants to successfully graduate from high school. To do this, the program provides a wholesome after-school meal, the time and support for the kids to complete their homework with the help of volunteer tutors, and enriching activities like crafts and sports to allow the kids to explore their interests and have fun.
